• Complete Planer Line consisting of the following:
• Stetson-Ross 614-D-1 with double profilers; 1" to 6" thickness x up to 14" width cap.; solid 1-piece cast frame heavily ribbed and stress annealed; feedworks cast integrally into frame where feedchain, sprockets and gears run in oil. With (6) powered 12" dia. feed rolls, (2) pair at infeed and (1) pair at outfeed; infeed rolls knurled and chromed; outfeed rolls sandblasted and chromed; steel feedworks gears and sprockets on heavy ball or roller bearings throughout feedworks; all roll shafts from alloy steel. Top and bottom cylinders with 14-knife, 9-3/8" cutting circle using 14" x 2" x 5/32 knives; top and bottom heads interchangeable for wear; each cylinder mounted in (2) large heavy duty, single row, deep groove precision ball bearings; (2) bearing anti-whip construction on all spindles and cylinders. Chipbreakers with anti-snipe design; variable pneumatic tension to chipbreakers for long wear; outside sidehead chipbreaker uses ski-type shoe similar to top cylinder chipbreaker.
• Side heads with #2 Stetson-Ross taper; 9-3/8" side head cutting circle. Electrical equipment arranged for 480-volt operation; other voltages easily possible via transformer. Equipped with Allen Bradley Soft Start Starters variable frequency feed drive for Planer Feed Table. Cutterhead motors are of specially designed with 300% pull-out torque for planer duty on all cutterheads, provides intermittent capacity to plane oversize pieces or bullheads.
• Motor power: Top cylinder with 150 HP (2 x 75 HP), 75 HP bottom cylinder, 30 HP outside and inside spindles; 25 HP top and bottom profile spindles with removable cutterheads; 3/4 HP top infeed roll hoist, 3/4 HP top cylinder hoist, and 3/4 HP top outfeed roll hoist. NOTE: Main wear parts are hard chromed - bed plates, chipbreaker shoes, feed rolls, etc.
• System includes: • 5-strand 12' x 10' chain deck @ infeed
• 5-strand 20'x 18' chain deck @ infeed
• Planer Feed Table with 25 HP variable seep drive.
• Planer out feed roll case
